The Long Meadow Ranch is one of the finest ranch offerings available. It is located just 22 miles northwest of historic downtown Prescott near some of the areas most exclusive developments. 200 head are run year-round on the ranch's 2,151-deeded acres and the adjacent Prescott National Forest grazing permit. Water is abundant and shallow enough that 120 acres are sub-irrigated. A couple of the ranch's eight wells produce more than 500 GPM and irrigate another 80 acres. The state has issued a water adequacy certificate for development uses up to 3,156.4 acre feet. The ranch is home to one of Arizonas premier antelope herds; chukar and pheasant have also been raised on the ranch. Black bear, mule deer, elk and turkey also frequent the ranch.
