Recent internal data shows appromixately $9 billion in farms, ranches and other land for sale in Colorado, representing 1,005,429 acres of land for sale here. This represents a two percent increase from last month in the total amount of land and property in Colorado for sale. Of the 64 counties in the state, Park County had the most land and acreage for sale. There were 11,369 acres of sold land in Colorado recorded in April through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a change in sales activity over data from the month before. Costilla County recorded the most land sales recently in the state. Colorado ranks among the country's ten largest states in terms of size, covering an area of 104,100 square miles (67 million acres). Wildlife to be found on land for sale in Colorado include mule deer, elk, bear, turkey, and grouse. Anglers can enjoy casting for trout, bass, pike, catfish, and salmon.
